from an early age in the world of construction
Peter Jacobs grew up as the son of a carpenter, immersed from an early age in the world of construction, which led him to develop a deep interest in the sector.
During his studies at the Eindhoven University of Technology, he explored not only architecture, urban design, and construction technology but also marketing, business administration, and economics. These multidisciplinary skills became a solid foundation for his career in real estate development.
In 1990, he founded Credo Integrale Planontwikkeling and established a connection with the Volker Wessels group. This mutual interest led to the award of the delegated development contract for the “Paleiskwartier” project, comprising 200,000 m² of office space and 2,000 residential units in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands). Peter Jacobs became the key figure and representative for all market stakeholders involved (ING, NIB Capital, SPS, VolkerWessels). What was once an abandoned business park was transformed into a thriving urban area through a public-private partnership (PPP) with the municipality and other market players.
Beyond Paleiskwartier, he acquired and developed several other projects, including Philips’ Strijp S. This project was also executed through a PPP with the Eindhoven municipality. In 2004, Peter Jacobs moved to Spain to explore the country’s real estate development and investment market.
In 2005, along with private investors, he acquired an existing senior living complex in Benidorm, Ciudad Patricia, where Credo took over its operations. Following renovations and expansions, the property was sold in 2022 to the Azora investment fund.
Currently, Peter is primarily focused on residential development in the Sitges region, particularly in the Can Jove area—19 hectares located between Sant Camil Hospital and the center of Sant Pere de Ribes—continuing his legacy in the real estate sector.
